Ancol Dog Training Clicker

A handheld training clicker with a finger loop and a raised button. Clicker training works because the click is a consistent, distinctive marker sound that tells your dog the exact instant they did the right thing — far more precise than your voice, which varies in tone and timing. You click at the moment of the behaviour, then reward, and the dog quickly learns to work out what earned the click. Effective for teaching new commands, shaping tricks, recall work and building focus, and it works just as well with cats and other pets. The elasticated wrist or finger loop keeps it to hand while you handle treats and a lead. Suitable for puppies through to adult dogs, and for complete beginners — pair the clicker with treats for a few sessions first so the sound acquires meaning.
