Ancol Grooming Comb

A metal grooming comb with a comfortable handle, and the tool most groomers reach for to check their own work. Combs get right down to the skin in a way brushes do not — a coat can look perfectly brushed on the surface while matting quietly against the skin underneath, and a comb is what finds it. Rounded tooth tips protect the skin while the teeth work through knots and lift out loose undercoat. Use it after brushing: if the comb passes cleanly from root to tip everywhere, the coat is genuinely tangle-free. Particularly valuable on long, curly and double coats, and on the friction areas where mats form first — behind the ears, in the armpits, under the collar and around the tail.
