Beaphar Liver-Flavour Toothpaste with Enzymes for Cats & Dogs (100g)

Specially formulated with enzymes, Beaphar Toothpaste helps counteract plaque and tartar formation when used as part of a regular brushing routine, contributing to normal gum function and reducing the growth of dental bacteria — resulting in fresher breath and better oral hygiene. The tasty liver flavour means it is readily accepted by most cats and dogs, which is half the battle. Crucially it is fluoride-free and xylitol-free: both are toxic to cats and dogs and are present in human toothpaste, which also contains a foaming agent that irritates a pet's stomach if swallowed — never use human toothpaste on a pet. Active ingredients: sodium hexametaphosphate, silicon dioxide, zinc citrate, glucose oxidase and subtilisin (protease). Size: 100g tube. Suitable for cats and dogs of all breeds, from 8 weeks of age. Brushing is the gold-standard approach and takes only 60 seconds — aim for 15 seconds per quadrant of the mouth, and 2–3 times a week is enough to see a marked improvement. Introduce it gradually: let your pet lick the paste off your finger first, then off the brush, before attempting to brush properly. Store at room temperature and always leave fresh drinking water available afterwards.
